For probably the last year and a half I have been dreaming about opening my own Etsy store. Well, today was the day and I am sooo EXCITED! The store is called the Bessie Jean Boutique and I am so proud I finally got up the guts to start one. I don’t have all my items listed yet, but I have a start. And that’s something right? Here are a few pictures of the rings I listed today.
And I give you the “Rachelle Ring.”
"The Rachelle Ring" is a Gorgeous Ruffle Scallop Rose cabochon atop a Black Filigree Ring Base. The Perfect Statement Piece to add to your wardrobe!
The Rose cabochon is approximately 20mm and color is through and through. Black Filigree Ring Base is lead free and 100% brass with a beautiful black powder coat finish.
The ring will come packaged in a cute little box.
There are several more rings currently in my shop and I have a bunch more pieces (Necklaces, Earrings and EVEN More Rings) to Add, so keep checking back. Click here to go to my store. Thanks for reading and HAPPY SHOPPING!
My Husband was asked to be the best man in his friends DESTINATION WEDDING this past April. (I realize I’m behind in posting) This happened to be pretty AWESOME because the wedding was in MAUI, HAWAII!
Although I totally wanted to attend the wedding, I contemplated staying behind with Princess B, her being so young and all. I was super nervous about subjecting her to a six hour plane flight and subjecting everyone else to us for six hours. After much debating I decided to go and we turned it into a family vacation.
All in all, traveling with Princess B was a breeze minus the fact that the airport held me in security for over half an hour. One of Princess B’s bottles set off one of their “High Tech” machines. Per AIRPORT PROTOCOL all mine and Princess B’s belongings had to be swabbed down, we had to be patted down, (yes, they patted down my 4 month old) and they even called in their Resident Explosive Specialist. Who knew a bottle filled with BREAST MILK could cause such a stir. So, despite this small hiccup the trip was AMAZING!
Here are some pictures:
Ahhhh… to be back in Maui.
We stayed at the Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas and I LOVED it there. I didn’t want to leave and actually pondered whether or not any one would notice if I camped out on their beach in Princess B’s tent for a few more weeks. LOL!
Click here if you would like to see pictures of the wedding.
These are pictures from a WEDDING I attended in April. All I can say is GORGEOUS! Destination WEDDINGS are so much FUN! If you are considering a destination WEDDING I say go for it.

Remember how I got this look? If not click here.
Well, this weekend I JAZZED it up.
Here’s How:
Just like on the original look, line the entire top lash line. This time just thicken up the line a little. When you line the bottom lash line, instead of just doing the outer corner, line it from corner to corner and smudge with a cotton swab.
When applying your eye shadow, do everything the same except apply a little more of the Nars color Ondine in the crease and corner to darken it up. Make sure to blend well.
These extra steps will add on a little time, but will make your eyes really POP! Have fun.
